We are definitely booking again and hopefully we will continue to visit this cottage. If you are searching for the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life, well this is the place for it. I have stayed in a few cottages in this area over the past 14 years but this one definitely tops the list. 07/20/2019 3rd visit for us and the views are just as spectacular. Had to navigate all the overgrown brambles coming up and down the track, which is quite difficult on the on the bottom half of the track, on the previous visits this has been cleared. I have now got scratches along the side of my car. I do look after my car and having found all these scratches is a big disappointment. There’s definitely been a lack of maintenance to the sides where needed so take care when you start your ascent. Mr N. 01/28/2019 Loved cottage and surrounding area, but could do with WiFi Mrs G. 01/27/2019 We very much enjoyed our stay despite it being winter, very much hope to return. Emma S. 01/03/2019 CANNOT RATE LITTLE LAIGHT HIGH ENOUGH 5 Carol 11/07/2018 Although the access to the cottage was steep and the road rough. the cottage was outstanding. Everything to accomodate your comfort was provided. . The views were amazing. The surrounding area was beutiful. There really isn't a negative to the cottage We would definately return. Ulrich 10/27/2018 This is a wonderful place to stay with the whole family. There is space enough in and arround the house with mignificant sights over the Sea and the landscape. All things you need to prepare every sort of meal are in the kitchen. Its a long way from Germany - but every mile is it worth. 1 hour arround the cottage there are so many magnificant places to vist - its a dream! Hazel 10/26/2018 Little Laight had one of the best views we have ever had from a holiday cottage, be it I Scotland or anywhere in UK. The cottage was light and very comfortable. The amenities were great. The cooker controls took a little getting used to and the track was a little rough but it did keep unwanted traffic away. The only items missing were comfortable garden furniture, as we were lucky to have two weeks of sunny weather. The picnic table provided was good but seat hard. Great area for dogs. Carole 10/24/2018 Perfect place for us and our 2dogs, very well equipped, cosy, comfortable, well fenced, private, but nearby village has very little, Stranraer has more. Eating out not a good idea, standards of restaurants are not too good. Folk on the estate are friendly and very kind, only thing the cottage lacked was a hose pipe to wash dogs! Sadly for us,the journey was very long, because of where we live, otherwise it would be on our list for frequent visits. A lovely place in a super position. Julie 10/24/2018 We had a lovely 2nd visit to Little Laight. The cottage was comfortable and clean Very homely. Shame about the weather! The views were often marred by seamist but that didn't put us off. We came home and booked again for next year. George 10/23/2018 Been twice , both times was excellent .Beautiful cottage Piers 10/22/2018 Fantastic views, the cottage was well appointed. A great place to get away from it all. Sandra 10/20/2018 We had a lovely relaxing week at Little Laight. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. The views are breathtaking and the cottage is clean , well furnished and well equipped . We will definitely be returning. Andrew H. 07/22/2018 Our second visit and we weren’t disappointed at all, the cottage was kept to its usual immaculate cleanliness and all the fixtures and furnishings are modern appliances. If you’re after a break to relax you then this is the place, we have come home totally chilled and can’t wait until we book for next year. Our 13 year old border terrier enjoys it and she finds another lease of life. Andrew H. 07/22/2018 This was our second visit and we were not disappointed, the cottage was absolutely perfect and still kept to high standards. The weather was a bonus so enjoyed the views more as we could see into Northern Ireland as well as all of Loch Ryan. Such a peaceful retreat to relax and enjoy the Scottish wildlife and scenery, excellent walking area also and a great place for the dog to have a break too. If you want to try and get away from it all well this is the place.
