Cocoa Bean Company - Chocolate Factory, Twynholm

An excellent place to take the kids to, with both an extensive indoor soft play area and an amazing outdoor area with a pirate ship theme. A great chocolate making facility with the added bonus that they get to keep the chocolate they make. There is also a good cafe to really nice food and drinks. You only pay for the children adults are free and you can just pay for play areas or extra for the chocolate making.

Gem Rock Museum, Creetown

If you like gems and things, the Creetown Gem Rock Museum has loads to offer. The museum is beautifully laid out and easy to get around. There's plenty more besides including the 'crystal cave', the 'professor's study' and a very good gift shop. There's also a good coffee shop for very reasonably priced snacks or light meals.

Galloway Activity Centre, Loch Ken

Galloway Activity Centre is a friendly, family run outdoors centre operating on the beautiful shores of loch ken. They offer a range of land and water based activities and water sports such as  kayaking, canoeing, archery, outdoor laser quest, climbing/abseiling, windsurfing and even wobble boarding as well as tuition to families, individuals.

Logan Fish Pond, Port Logan

One of the most popular attractions with our guests.  Logan Fish Pond is a fully restored Victorian fish larder in a unique setting at Port Logan near Stranraer. A tidal pool created by a blow hole which formed sometime during the last ice age.It is an opportunity to see some of Scotland’s most beautiful marine life and amazing geology,  It offers around 50+ different beautiful species of fish and marine life set in a truly unique and stunning setting which provides  not only an exciting day but an educational one too.
